Breaking News!!!! She lives!!!

A different guy came over and hooked up the Tech 2 and hooked up the vacuum gauge to the test port. After noticing some slow cranking on my charger we bumped the amperage up. After the bump, for some unknown reason, it cranked up and started running as smooth as one that's driven daily. Balance rates were really poor and had a roughy idle. After a few minutes they'd started to level out. I haven't put it in gear yet though. The fuel filter separator was leaking on the bottom and I have a new sensor and filter to install. The got the vacuum gauge on the test port up to 8 or so and it stayed at 2 for awhile and then dropped some. I had already orderd the orings and seals to rebuild this anyways off eBay.

Balance Rates- after initial 12 mins of running. First time I heard it running!
1 -2.3
2. 0.7
3. -1.7
4. 3.7
5. 1.3
6. 1.9
7. -1.6
8. -1.8

I'm going to go tomorrow, drain the oil again, add new oil and filter.

Although I still have a long way to go, I want to thank all the board members for there help, especially the ones that have delt with my PM's!

Let us know when you take it for a drive. I'm curious to see if it shifts.

After letting the truck run for about 45mins. I drained the oil and it came out like Yoo Hoo! Mixed up 7qts oil and 3 qts Kerosene let the truck run for 30 mins or so. When this was drained it looked a lot better. Added straight diesel oil and new filter. Probably change the oil again after I drive the truck some more.

Drove it down the road, about 2 miles or so and noticed some hesitation in the shifting. It slipped some and revved up a little too high for the speed the Truck was moving at. The slipping was probably due to watered down fluid that was still in the tranny and/or low fluid. It did throw some Transmission related codes when I first got it moving. After the truck (fluid) got warmed up, I cleared the codes and drove it for a little more and they have not come back.

Drained the fluid overnight with the pan and filters out and replaced both filters this afternoon along with more new fluid. The old fluid that came out had a nice tint to it, not like the strawberry milkshake I found in the pan the first time I drained it.

Nice news man! Gotta love when something finally starts working after being worked on.

The transmission might be shot, only thing you can really do is drain, fill run drain fill.

This should be your next little project is getting that motor to run great How To: DIY - Injector cleaning
tranny can be rebuilt back to stock for around a grand or so.

Glad you got it running! I do a bit of salvage rebuilds myself. Always stayed away from the water damage. Knowing my luck I'd get a salt water one and it'd be scrap.

Sounds like you've got a pretty penny in fluids already as many times as you replaced them. Good luck!
