2001 Duramax Diesel in oil, Major leak

I was looking for some info on this forum and have seen many posts but cant find one exact answer so was seeing if anyone could help me. I have a 2001 Chevy 3500 6.6l 4x4 dually with 236k miles. We replaced the injectors in truck about 30k miles ago with i believe upgraded 50hp injectors. I have a KN intake, EDGE programmer (but has been off truck about 5k miles) and straight pipe exhaust. Everything has been fine with the truck but the other day I kept smelling something and noticed I hadnt driven far and my fuel gauge and dropped a bunch. I put fuel in truck and noticed that there was fluid dripping and covered almost the whole motor. I left station trying to make it home and noticed my oil pressure had dropped. I went to walmart and bought 2 gallons of oil to put in it. When I got back outside it had a huge puddle under it. I put the oil in and could see it steadily leaking. I drove the truck home 20 miles and it didnt leak near as much when i checked the next morning. I took the truck to get oil changed today and they said it was almost all diesel fuel. At the time of it messing up I had a 24 ft livestock trailer on the back and didnt notice any loss of power. Ive read it could be injectors again, injector seal or injector cup. Does anyone have any advice so I dont get screwed taking it somewhere to have the truck fixed? Thanks in advance. Blake

Sounds like a cracked body on an injector or return line leaking. I would get the balance and return rates checked right away before you drive it any more.

Do I have to get balance and rates checked at dealer? Can they tell me which one is bad? I read if you pulled covers you would be able to tell which ones were leaking with it running? Do you know anything about this?

Snap On scanner, tech 2 or some of the programmers will be able to give you balance rates. You also can run the truck with the valve covers off so you can track down the leak.

Im not sure, thats what made me think it may not be injectors. They only reason we replaced them in the first place was bc there was a little white smoke at idle. Nothing bad at all. Im just stumped on this, and dont know why they wouldnt last long at all.

I know there are problems sometimes with reman. parts. I have bought a few things reman from advance auto and the part wasnt good and had to take it back off and get another. That would be a pain in the ass with injectors.
