Headgasket total job pricing?

Well my headgaskets are toast, What have you guys seen as far as shop labor to get them done? Going to be doing studs as well... Not as excited as I should be.

Im hoping my liberal anti-seize on all the up pipe bolts and not having the stock downpipe, and other nonsense in the engine bay will shave off a few hours...

With arp studs/parts, gaskets and labor...$4500

Shops rip you off big time.
I did mine myself and saved $3500 off my "estimate" above.

When I did my 05 with arp head studs up here bd diesel quoted me over 10,000 I told them to hit the road! Couple other shops were around 10k as well cheapest being 7600

Luckily a diesel mechanic did them for me in his garage, 1 week and 1500 in labour, parts were 2k

You got ripped on parts bud. You can do the water pump, FPR, "C" head gaskets, ARP's, glow plugs, upper & lower valve cover gaskets for around $1500 in parts.
