possible blown head gasket help!

The other day im towing a light load and the coolant light came on so i topped it off later on that night and ran it with the cap opened and noticed the coolant resivoir is bubbleing purfusly and with the cap on for a while warming up my upper hose is rock hard. no overheating ever or mixed fluids those are my only symptoms. pretty sure its a head gasket but wanted to see if anyone has had this problem like maybe if a thermostat stuck closed would do that or something i dont know. ANY ADVICE HELPS THANKS!

Bubbling resevoir and hard upper rad hose is proof enough. Headgakset time.

You don't have to pull the turbo.Yes you can leave the manifolds and clams on.Better eat your wheaties that morning it's gonna be heavy.

X2 on eating your Wheaties. It is heavy if you do it in the truck and only one person lifts it out. Lol I know from experience!!!

I wasn't pushing fluid yet. But I had a hard upper hose. One cylinder was blown and three others were starting to blow.
If you're up for the challenge then go for it. It's a great way to learn about our trucks.
