Not holding prime

I've read multiple forums about this but I don't see any of them pertain to this situation. Just replaced injectors per Lincoln diesel no more smoking better idle. Awesome. But it seems to take a couple extra seconds to start warm then when about 0 it takes about 3 tries. I just replaced the bleeder screw with a aluminum one but still loses it prime maybe it's normal I don't know. It always starts just takes a little longer. I can let it sit a day and I can pump it 20+ times before it gets hard. I have looked all over for leaks but haven't tried pressurizing the fuel system yet. I did put a adapter on the fuel filter for a cat filter maybe that's it. Before injector change it would start right up but with white smoke.Am just being paranoid. What do you guys think. Thanks

Have you checked your oil level to see if it has raised or has fuel in it? I wonder of it is possible that a injector return line could be leaking and cause it to lose prime. Just a thought since it didn't do it before.

Well I've been checking my oil level every time I drive it. It does look like it may be keeping up a bit. I may be in denial. 600 miles when done. Ever since I changed oil it's been hovering above full a little bit I figured this normal. Changed filter and oil added 11 quarts when injector change was done.

Well I feel like a retard that's what brother told me it holds so apparently he's been running 11 qts too. Think I should just change filters on it to get oil level right.

Just took adapter off and put regular filter on. I think I found problem too. It does take about 15 pumps after it sat for a couple hours but at least it gets hard. What next I want to run the Cat filter is there any way can measure the flatness of adapter. Thanks

I also am having a problem with my '03 LB7 losing prime overnight, but I only have to pump the bulb 3 times before it starts puking fuel out of the bleeder screw. I had a CAT adapter from Nicktane installed when I got my injectors done a few weeks ago, but when I tried switching back to a stock filter, it fired, killed, and then wouldn't start again at all. Even after re-priming it. Any ideas?
