Factory High Idle Enable

I did the high idle modification yesterday by tapping into the Green/White on the brake pedal and putting the ECM pin in. I'm not a fan of how that if I leave my cruise control on and then go to park the high idle kicks in.

I'm curious as to how the factory wired option sends the power to ECM pin 71. There has to be a factory switch to enable it.

Does anyone know where the factory enable switch is located and if it can be bought?

put a switch in between the brake wire and the ecm so you can turn it on and off.

I'm probably going to get the PPE High Idle kit. It looks close to factory. I like for things to look factory.
