 | Burning oil??? I heard a loud rattle the other day when I cranked my truck. I checked the oil and it was not even showing on the dipstick. I added oil immediatly and it ran fine. No smoke, no oil smell, balance rates are in spec as the injectors were replaced 5k miles ago. What could this be? Where is my oil going? No oil on the ground either.

| Also found the rattle. Exhaust hanger broke loose and was hitting side of tranny housing

| its not pumping your oil into the radiator is it? through the oil cooler?

| you can check yur reservoir.. but if u were real worried about that drain all the antifreeze out when its hot, if there is oil in there it will be thin enough to come out pretty easy.. it may not be that, your truck could just burn that much oil between changes

| try adding a bottle of lucas oil stabilizer every change and shorten the span to less than 5,000 miles. might help a little
