| All LB7 owners need to do this!! I never heard of this problem until it happened to me.. I was driving down the highway, not loaded with the cruise at 70 when a vibration started all of the sudden. So I slowed down until the vibration went away and drove the last mile to my destination. When I got out of the truck I found all of my tranny fluid pouring out on the ground. I had one of the 4 bearings on a u-joint go bad and the small amount of vibration broke the rear housing on the transmission. It it almost $700 dollars in parts, so: Have you replaced your u-joints yet? If not it may be time to replace them or it is time for you to get a rear housing brace like ATP and Merchant Auto sells for around $160-$190 Learn from my experience, and spend the money now to fix it before you get the big bill. :

| U joints are always over looked until there is a vibe. I have some on the bench waiting to go in. The Delco's are priced well and made in the USA. |

| True but u joints used to go bad all the time and nothing else broke normally. I bought the truck with 135000 on it and don't know if they were ever changed. I know u joints wear out but just the fact that only one bearing was bad of the 8 was a little redic. Sent from my iPhone using AutoGuide.com Free App
