| Blue/ white smoke Hey guys, I got my injector balance rate done, and they come back okay. So I'm not sure what's going on with it smoking. I'll start it up to warm and it'll not smoke. But once I start driving it then come to a stop light it starts to smoke. Its look as if its burning oil with some white. I checked my dipstick and it doesn't seem its burning a lot. I couldn't see a CAT under the truck, unless its up by the turbo. So I'm not sure if it has a EGR or not. But any other possibilities what could be causing this? | How does it idle? Surging at all? And what do you mean by the balance rates were "okay". Do you have them on hand? Did you check them with the truck at operating temperature and in park & drive? Sent from AutoGuide.com Free App

| Fill out ur sig.. is it an LB7? and balance rates dont always tell you if they're bad or not.

| does your oil smell like diesel? pour a whole jug of diesel kleen in her and see if it stops smoking but i would bet its time for new injectors. Lb7s are bad about injectors going bad.

| If you put your dipstick fresh from the motor onto a paper towel, you will see an almost rainbow ring spread from the oil into the paper towel IF you have fuel in your oil.
