the trucks got 100k on it, work at a dealership so checking them is not a big deal truck is out of warranty in june so im glad i checked them otherwise i would have been sol this last set has only got 12,000 miles on them i didnt think they were going to last had a cold injector knock from the get go, just finnally read out of spec so i can replace them. even bieng a gm tech gm has craked down on warrenty claims so this is probbably last stock set, 50hp injectors are next if they go out again.

My injectors were changed when the truck had 62K miles. I'm at 113K now. Now that mine is past the warranty, I've been contemplating if I should upgrade to an LBZ or something or just stick it out and hope nothing happens. I've heard mixed reviews on these injector replacements.

If you can do them yourself I would say keep it, but if not than I might say upgrade... I am in the process of finishing up mine right now, and should be all done tonight. It is not to bad of a job to install them yourself, just a lot of crap to remove to replace....

Damn to bad luck! I need to take mine into the shop and have mine checked. She is smoking white at idle, little worried! Sound like injectors to you! Also know any good GM shops in Atlanta to take it to?

send me your vin. please. Their is NO way you are on your third set of covered injectors. So this will be bad set number 3 or number 4. Our district manager will only allow 1 set per truck no matter what if it has the 2 upgraded injectors in it. early 04 I belive when the real fix came out... If you have the upgrades injectors the only way we have seen them go bad again is not changing fuel filters and crappy fuel. I would love to see your vin number. I want to see their comments on this.
