Mine expired in Nov but I got a GM claim number and they since it started having problem back towards the end they may or may not cover it. I need to get it to the dealer but right now it's in a NAPA care care center garage and not running and they are scratching their heads and thinking the new injector pump and or injectors are bad or one or the other. Keep our fingers crossed on this one.

Some trucks have hard delayed starting, meaning that an injector is bleeding down overnight. They have a special policy replacement warrenty, they are covered for 7 years or 200,000k. A lot of trucks are right about out of factory warrenty. IF YOU DONT KNOW IF YOUR INJECTORS HAVE ALREADY BEEN REPLACED OR WANT TO KNOW WHEN YOUR TRUCK WILL BE OUT OF WARRENTY, POST A VIN CHECK IN THE VIN CHECK FORUM SO WE CAN TELL YOU. If you have already had Dont wait to go in their and tell them your crankcase was/is full of diesel. After the 7 years you could be on your own.
I was looking at my Vin check history and noticed that i had an "injector replacement" how can you tell from this whether or not all the injectors were replaced?

because on LB7s they are instructed to replace all 8.

The new ones are supposedly redesigned but fail just as much as the old ones.

theres no hope.

why would he have all eight done?? He has an LLY, no reason to do them all, just the bad ones especially since they are easy to get to.

If you have one bad headlight you dont replace them all, why do the same with injectors.

I do That way they match with the brightness. Maybe a different comparison is in order, such as maybe..tail lights? I think he understands the point though.

Truck is at the dealer right now getting all 8 replaced, it only took me three different dealers before they would even check the injectors. How much luck has everyone had once they got them replaced? Should i expect everything to be good to go for a while with the new injectors or do most of you experience problems after the swap?

Is there anything one could do to help the injectors last longer or are they a lost cause... lift pump, etc?
