I straight-piped my stock exhaust, and love the way it sounds. There are a few others around here who have done it.

It will sound like this

When I sit in my truck, does that make it MODded??

I am in the same boat... But I think that Utah laws say that I can't have a straight pipe.... Something that it won't pass safety when next year comes. But I'm sure that is the way to go.

Straight pipe and I dunno if utah is like texas but I can get an inspection sticker for a bucket for a $100. I had a bagged truck for a few years with straight pipes, everything shaved including windshield wipers and never had a problem getting it inspected.
