code 0380

I have a 2004 duramax with 84k miles on it. I recently had the check engine light come on with a code for "0380 Glow Plug/heater circuit A". I was able to read this using my PPE programmer. I thought the programmer may have something to do with this so I cleared the code put the program back to stock and the check engine light came on again. Does anybody know the cause of this and is this covered under the 100k motor warranty?

I'm not sure if its covered under the 100k warrenty or not but the most common causes for this code are 1 or a few badf glow plugs or a bad glow plug relay. Might wanna check those out first!

Yeah, take the wire off the glo plug and use a ohm/continuity meter from the glo plug stud with one lead and to the head "gound" with the other lead and u should have a closed circit for s good plug!
