My first set failed at 180k and my second at 274k. ugh! Are the LB7 injector problems from the injectors themselves or something else in the engine that causes them to go bad? I see people on their 3rd and 4th sets! I ruined my 2nd set myself....rookie mistake, but I would think the aftermarket injectors would be fine. Any ideas...?
im at 120K and according to the vin check theyve never been replaced just got the truck 4k ago though. Im hoping they last me till about 180 like some other people have.

Ive got 160k on mine now...what are the tell-tell signs for when they fail? Leaking? Rough idle? Loss of power? CEL? Just want to know what to look for...looking like Im getting close.
I was wondering the same thing. i have 109K on mine right now so I'm thinking I'm getting there too

__________________ 04" lb7 CC 4x4 black cuz it gets better MPGs. PPE programmer on 90hp, PPE valve, and air box mod. plugged all the right holes in the intake. intake elbow mod (.450) and polished out. max power headlight mod, no more kat. lots of wax on the hood to help with better mpgs.

Mine just went at 80K , the dealer said $4500 plus tax. They said because there is corrosion in one of the lines that the warranty will not cover it. I there a better injector or a better motor I should install……….the truck is a 2004.
