Location of ZF-6 gear oil fill plug?

Can anyone tell me where the fill plug is on a ZF-6 trans?

I just crawled under to take a look and found 2 possible fill points:

1.) Right side - just behind the bell housing there's a really big (1"+) hex head bolt pretty close to the floor pan

2.) Left side close to the PTO cover there's a plug that looks just like the drain plug that would receive a 3'8" drive.

I'm guessing the one on the left side is the fill point, but it look awfully low considering the height of the transmission.

Thanks.

Jonathan

there isn't many guys running zf-6 trucks on here (or anywhere for that matter) i assume you could call your local dealer and ask them...and if you still get nothing try asking on duramaxdiesels.com...slightly more technical over there

Stopped by the dealer today and confirmed the fill point is the plug on the left side of the trans just behind the PTO plate.

Torques:
Fill Plug 26 ft/lbs
Drain Plug 26 ft/lbs
