First Diesel.....

I have just purchased my first diesel are there any tricks or anything that I should know as far as additives to the fuel and oil? All input is appreciated. I am truly a diesel newb. By the way it is an 04' 6.6l with 127k on the clock.

welcome to DF i have been use power service diesel supplement every 2 or 3 fill ups on my 01 with 205k and still kick plus prevents your fuel from gel up good luck

I get my fuel filter from Racor NEW Coalescer Fuel Filter 01-10 Duramax Diesel | Maintenance | 04.5-05 LLY Duramax | GM Duramax | Diesel Power | Performance Truck Products Buy 2 and get free shipping or at least when I ordered I did. As far as additives, you can pick up Power Service at Wall Mart or most gas stations. Or you could get some Amsoil from one of our venders on here
