truck cranks and the shuts off

truck cranks and then shuts off after it been sitting there all night and have to prime it to get it running. i changed the fuel filter and it still does it. any suggestions?

Welcome to the DF!! Check your orings in the fuel filter for leakage, if they are good, I would suspect a cracked fuel filter housing.

mine ended up being the WIF sensor on the bottom of the filter. changed it 2 weeks ago and has been fine since, knock on wood!
