when your injectors went how high did your oil level go?
im just at my 16000km oil change interval and i have known my injectors have been bad for the last two changes but the dealer keeps turning me away... my oil level is always gradually higher and higher due to the injectors but what is "normal" for bad? i cant get a good gauge on the actual level because it seems to go 3 inches up the cable... does this level sound right (for bad injectors)? i want the dealer to see this.
PS i got the finger from a pedestrian the other day from my truck white smoking out an underpass when i was stopped at a light lol, and GM says my injectors are still in spec.... my eyes water if my windows are rolled down

Wow thats bad! Any rise in oil would make me want to change the injectors asap. Did you take it to more than one dealer? With that mutch fuel in the oil it could very well cause the oil to thin and result in destroying the motor. Id take it to another dealer and see what they say.
Also, to check how mutch fuel is in the motor you could measure the amout of oil that comes out.

As stated above get it checked asap, any rise in oil level in my mind is bad. If injectors are still good could it be a faulty injector cup? maybe someone with more knowledge will chime in.
Going on 2 years with my oil level rising constantly.
My injectors were 1 year old when my oil level started rising, and I'm way out of warranty so constant oil changes (every 7000 kms) is what I do, and watch the oil pressure gauge religiously.
I have a leak in mine somewhere, but no foul smell, smoke, or poor performance.
Mine was smoking at idle and getting worse, no fuel in oil, dealer had checked earilier and was in spec? I called GM customer service and explained situation [also told them I own 6 GM products] they said take it back to dealer and have it rechecked [it had been couple of months] so I took it back and retested and they said they would order the inj., they did and got them installed with in a week no more smoke at idle, cust service was very nice to deal with, called back several times during repair process, yes I will def. buy a GM. again [not sure if call made any diff. on repair or not but cant hurt]
man customer service has been useless to me... i have been to 4 dealers now... i took it into one before i got my oil change this week he (shop foreman) looked at it and said it wasnt as bad as he's seen. looks like just one bad one which is what the most recent diagnostic came back as (bad but not bad enough... or course) but to go in right before my warranty expires for another diagnosis. he has seen ones where it is pouring right out of the dip stick tube and blowing out the pvc valve.
i really hope they replace them. if they dont i wanna get them done right away and get the pulled injectors tested and the results sent to gm. the fact is you will never sell a hard starting, smoking truck... but for some reason my truck is considered "in spec".
i personally think my SES light should have come on 2 oil changes ago

It makes no sense to me how they could be bad but not bad enough??? If you lived closer I would send you to the dealer that did mine, dont give up GM should be covering this for you, good luck
god what the hell are they waiting for the engine to spin a bearing? or are they delaying till it becomes a retail job? i'd get on their a$$ before something seious happens!
