i love mine its got 245000 and still kicks and runs perfect havent had to do injectors and ive done a water pump, i think the head gaskets had been done before i bought the truck and i like not havin to deal with all the emissions bs

and im gonna put new injectors in when i do that
Love my LB7, just hope the injectors last at least another 80,000KM's! I think I do have one that will need replacing eventually as the last time I had a guy look at them, one injector was sitting at around -3.something and when we pushed on the accelerator they all went to zero.

I have a 2001 6.6 LB7 that was one of the 1st batch to be delivered to the east coast.
It has been quircky. I have replaced 7 neutral safety switches and I can't wash the ext without it losing throttle(It only idles) or it won't start one day and then it's fine the next No code tripped except when I need a new safety switch. I have been smelling antifreeze when I get out after driving it but can't see any leaks. I have to add coolant every month or so. Last week after a heavy rain it turned over fine but wouldn't start. A day later it started right up. the dealer replaced the ECM under warranty but it has 129,000 now and I am getting worried. Replaced water pump during winter of 08. I hate the neutral safety switch problem. Change Oil and filter every 3,000 also use Lucas additive. Wish I knew what to do. My local diesel Mech can't seem to figure it out.
any help would be appreciated.

PS The 1st time the neutral safety went was at 4,500 miles - It was a sade day watching it go off on a flat bed while it still had the new truck smell.
I am very worried about the loss of antifreeze and no visible leaks...

only problems were a waterpump a little bit ago and the trans went bye bye cause of bullydog... but other then that i love it
