Ask the dealer to check the balance rates and do a pressure test before you buy it. It's still under the 7/200,000 mile injector warranty so even if you do buy it and the injectors fail your still covered up to 200k. Then you get to battle with GM under the special policy to get them replaced.
My truck is an '02 with 181,000 and the injectors have yet to be replaced. Had the balance rates and fuel pressure checked and everything checked out even though it smokes at bit at idle with the motor hot or cold.

Id trade a Powerjoke anyday for any dmax.. If its an 04 then the injectors are still under warranty. I think that is a good price on it. I love my LB7, wouldnt trade it for anything

On trading off the powerstroke, I agree if it is the 6 oh or later. I have an '02 with the 7.3 and I certainly would not trade it for a duramax nor the other way around. I like them both. Their mileage is neck and neck. I can get 20 mpg out of both of them under similar conditions and they are both 4WD. My ford is not stock but neither is my duramax. The best part is that my '02 has no emissions equipment.
