Throw some additives at it and run,I have a customer in alaska where it is always below 0 and he uses additives so the fuel won't gel,Amsoil makes a good additive Try it

at the moment i have none in this tank last time i filled it i though it i had some shit in my injectors so i dumped half a quart of kleenflo fuel system cleaner(gray jug) in along with another half a quart of kleenflo injector and pump lubricator (orange jug). unsure which i should run on a regular basis that tank the truck didnt like any high boost but now that i have the tank filled again with a fresh fuel filter it seems to be running even nicer and smoother then when i bought her

figue i would add this in this seems to be my maintenance schedule i have fallowed with every one of my past vehicles so add anything i may need to change

-15w-40 conventional oil w/Lucas oil stabilizer mixed in
-fuel filter changed every other oil chance
-oil is done around every 5000km
-new air filter every time it goes for an oil change (its black by then)
-allison spin on filter changed every other oil change
-fuel additives still unsure was running fuel system cleaner every tank for a while then stopped and never noticed a difference till lately when it felt like an injector was going
-diff oils changed if there is metal in it or its totally black and thats about it

i know what you mean dude...i was up workin right next to the NWT border and it would get -60*C or colder easy, trucks run 24/7...turn them off and they don't start the next morning even if they are plugged in

Hello every body. I'm new here and lovin' the site. What about talking to your bother and installing a hotbox in the bed of the truck it connects to your cooling line and and can keep the temp up. They run off diesel from your tank or a stand alone tank usally there in highway trucks or heavy equipment that is left in the field.

Definatly Use the high idle.... or get a webastco or similer heater (diesel fired keeps coolant temp at 140 or so) they work great
