I am looking at buying another Dmax a LB7 and I wanted to know if there is any diffrence in the years of the LB7. I mean is an 03 motor better then an 01 or is there no diffrence in them?

From what I have understood there is no difference in motors from 01-03 just different OS on the ECM and TCM. A few more tuning options if Im not mistaken in the 03-04.

right on, I would like to hear some more about this, is it something that a guy should look for a newer one for the tuning, or is there not enough change to make a diffrence.

Im not sure that would be something for a EFI Live guy to tell you. I don't think you can get anymore HP out of them I just think they have more parameters on curtain things but again I am not sure.
