To do cup hold downs do you need to pull the cups Nate?
To do nozzles no you don't have to pull the cups but I have heard of some people have had the cups come out on them when pulling injectors.
well that would suck but if the cup comes out what should i do, like to put it back in....
i know how ill get the coolant out of the cylinder i just dont know what all i need to put the cup back in,,,,,

there actually the injector hold downs, they just replace the stock hold downs. better materal and they use a stud with a nut instead of a bolt. so no you dont pull the cups, when i pulled my injectors i made sure to twist the injector back and forth to not pull the cup.
ideally you want to keep the cups in, saves a ton of work.
thats what i thought, i was thinkin if i just wiggled/ twisted them around for awhile before i yanked on them the cups should stay, haha i got worried when i read that the cups come too
im not sure what ill do,,,,i think ill pri just drive it till i start throwin codes or the injector stops workin,,,,,,,,

you might not get that lucky, there is a tsb about cups coming out with the injectors. if they do just glue them back it let it dry and be on your way.
Maybe it would be wise to go get a balance test, so you know which side to start on.

when i did mine, my cup was acutally stuck in the head. and couldn't get it out because i didn't have the tool.
tried a threaded pipe the same diameter and everything what happened was the tip of up the cup flared out and got stuck. Ended up having to take the head off to get the cup out. was not too fun. The whole problem was caused by a 30 cent copper washer that wore down inside the cup and eventually split. Must have injector must have not been set to the right torque when it had it's injectors replaced.
