01 Duramax loss of power

I have a 01 1-ton 4x4 that I pull a 41 foot toy hauler with. Intermitly it drops power and some times it will set a p0234 over-boost code. The injectors, injection pump, fuel rail pressure sensor, pedal position sensor, boost sensor, fuel filter and the air flow sensor have been replaced and it still has the issue. The truck has 152,000 miles on it and this has been going on for 2 years and the Dealer won't deal with it because it won't do it with out the trailer on it. I have seen other people with the same issue but no one seems to have an answer. I'm looking for some suggestions.

It has a hypertech tuner, fresh air box, 4" exshaust, BD exshaust manifold, egt and boost gauges and turbo blanket. If you remove the tuner and the fresh air box and go back to stock its still has the issue just not as often.

LB7 Overboost Code Eliminator [LB7BoostCodeElim] - $229.00 : Pacific Performance Engineering, Diesel Performance Technolgies

that is an over-boost code eliminator for the lb7's. not sure if you have tried this, but your truck might be building more boost especially when towing than what the ecm thinks is correct. so it'd be throwing your code. this boost code eliminator cancels p0234 and p0236. i would give it a try.

Angry LB7 injectors no good!!

I have the 01 GMC 4x4 last year they replaced the injectors. Only 16k miles later the same thing is going on again. They said it was the fuel pump regulator, one thousand dollars later and two miles it did the same thing. Limp mode nothing over 1900 RPM. Is this as common as I think?

if your injectors are shot i would think you'd have alot of white smoke and fuel in your oil.
