rolling stop shift

ok when i come to a rolling stop but don't completely stop and then accelerate quickly like to get into traffic. my transmission sometimes hesitates. its like it is in the middle of shifting right when i give it. then its fools around to find the gear. it only takes a second or two but i just find it a little stange. Anyone else encounter this?

Mine dose the same thing if I punch it win the speed is just right its like you catch it just as its starting to down shift but then it has to shift up to match the RPM you are throwing at it.

Yeah mine does it too, guess it's just something they all do. Notice it especially when coming to intersection making a right hand turn with light green then get on it to accelerate.
