automatic to manual

my c1 clutches are strarting to give out and i have a source on a 6 speed manual trans far as mechanical wise i know its not too hard to switch them over but far as electronicly is a pcm chage or program all thats nessesary or is there wiring that i will need, know there is multiple turbine speed sensors in the ally. basiclly what is involved to do this swap or is getting a built ally from suncoast more
cost effective.

the tranny that ive found is only 1500 bucks so im kind of leening toward the trans i know for a built ally and tourqe converter im looking around 5500 for everything so you can see why im leaning toward the manual figure 1200-1700 for a good clutch and flywheel probably around 500 for the pedal assy., master cylinder and slave cylinder. so around 3500 bucks all together. the only thing im not for sure about is pcm and wiring.

Suncoast does something in the stagev the one that you just need to add a converter and send them your cores ,there rebuild kits Sun Coast Converters Diesel Transmissions, Fort Walton Beach FL if you look at ppe kits they offer a few more options and prices have core added in. Transmission : Pacific Performance Engineering, Diesel Performance Technolgies

no the stage 5 will excess of 800 hp and the satge 4 is excess of 500 hp the stage 5 has some specials thing done to it . you have to buy the trans and converter and stage 4 comes with the converter but you have to build it yourself or have a shop do it.

thats what i kind of thought ahwell im going to try to baby my truck at least until next summer the only reson id put in a new trans is if it dont move right now it only slips on the higher levels and only bangs into gear when it is cold.
