New Owner of a 02 Duramax with a few questions.

Hey everyone Im new to the forum and new to the diesel world so don't mind me if I don't quite get everything you are talking about. Alright I have a few questions first. I have a 02 2500HD and it only has 95000 miles on it and it has the banks 6 gun in it and was wondering if I can piggy back that with another chip to adjust the tranny? I was told that the 6 gun doesn't do anything to the tranny and I would prefer that not to go out on me anytime soon. Also is there anything I should look for that maybe trouble some? Since you have a 5 speed the on shift kit that would really help is the Transgo kit, but you have to pull the tranny out to install it. There really isan't any tuners out there that will adjust the tranny. ATS makes the Co-Pilot, but there are mixed reveiws on whether or not it will help the tranny last any longer. The biggest thing you will need to do is keep the banks under 90 extra hp and you should be ok for a good while.
