looking at a 100K+ 03

so i need a diesel 2500 for work cause my wimpy tundra is not cutting it. anyways i found an 03 diesel with 105K on it. How long do these motors last? is there anything i should be aware of with a truck with this many miles on it?

oh and thanks for the help, this is my first diesel and my first post on this site!

LB7's are real good,extended warr on injectors too,is the price right??

ya they want 15K for it, and i think it has every option available or close to it. either way its perfect for the work im doing ( landscape construction hauling heavy...stuff )

Try and get em down,that seems a lil high,tell em a sob story about how expensive diesel is,then pretend you don't want it,or that ya can't decide,it works wonders....

Lol ya Id do what he said!

Thats not to bad of a price. Alot of places are almost giving away diesels. Ya I agree I think they made the warranty on injectors go to 200K for that year. Thats really the only major thing you have to worry about the dmax. Id say as long as you keep up with regular maintance youll be good to 300,000+ miles.

well most used trucks that are diesels specially cummins 2gen are all well over 110k id say
and the cummins tranny isnt the greatest

thanks everyone! im gonna go in there like i dont need sh*t and try to get the truck for 12 or so..
