Transmision Spec
Please correct me if I am wrong but did all of the LB7 trucks come standard with the allison transmision? Mine is a 2003.

someone correct me if wrong but i do believe they all came with allison's. I think it just wasn't looked at how it is now. Being the best

All the Dmax powered trucks came with the Allison. The Dmax powered vans don't have the Allison.

If you was looking through the owners manual it won't say. There is a seperate manual for the Duramax/allison combo.

I did notice the seperate manual, just skimmed thru but I didnt notice anything about the Allison. I will take a look tonight.
Although I think it has already been concluded that all D-Max powered trucks have Allison transmitions as a standard

Yes, the only way it wouldn't be is if you have the zf-6 speed manual.

The 01-05 came with the Allison 5 speed or a Zf-6 speed and the 06+ came with the only the 6 speed allison.
