ok i hear great things about synthetic ATF
is there anything i need to know going from conventional to synthetic
also seen a allison tran filter lock is this recommended on stock replacement or just for deep pan

localy i found mobil 1 is this good
i have seen most use AMSOIL or royal purple

We do all our services with Amsoil here in the shop. Its good stuff. As for the filter lock, not a bad idea, but then again I have yet to open one up that had the filter falling out. For the price, cheap insurance. Your call.

transynd thats allys brand of oil and that is what they tell you to run. It is kind of high but that is what i have in my ally.

The filter lock is made for the deep pan filters-- I don't there is one for use with the stock pan.
