Hey have you guys heard about this at all?Should like BULL to me,though maybe it is possible. If so its still not worth it,since you gotta replace the tranny with allison then get a suncoast kit to hold all that cummins power if built up.

I have heard of it and seen it on a truck in person. How about the reverse of that.

We are putting a Full billet dodge 47re behind a Duramax right now. This is a full built race truck with a 9 sec. roll cage in it.

They are both only good for about 90 hp. The 6 speed will handle it a little better with the transgo jr. though.

I called that guy from Craigs list just to see what was up. I don't know about all that. Some of the stuff he was claiming he sends out just doesn't add up to the price. I may have to make a run up to where ever he was located just to see.

I would say an Allison behind the Cummins would be such an insane towing combo it would be scary. However, when going for the big power and such, the Allison is much heavier, and has more planetary gears, all of which are heavy, so the 47RE would have less parasitic driveline loss due to lighter internals and fewer planetary sets.

Thanks Jason, lemme know whats up with this guy.Maybe might do it to the Cummins, though not looking to tow with my Cummins.Just strip and daily driving. But the guy should be up north of you a little bit, from what it looks like its a scam. For that price getting a Allison put in is one heck of a deal.
I'll call you in a few days after the dealer checks my injectors and see's if they are gonna replace them.
