I would check all fluids, change filters, and if that doesn't work, contact dealer like someone else said. I do know though, when I'm in tow haul mode, my truck shifts hard.

What about the FRPV? If its not working correctly and the fuel pressure is up and down at idle that could cause a surge. Pretty sure I've read about other people having the same surging issue, and that being the culprit. Not cheap though IIRC.

The fprv wouldn't cause that, but the Fuel Pressure Regualter could.
