surge at idle ses light own

well my truck started surging about a month an half ago and lastnight ths ses light came on ? any ideas of what to replace?

the truck has just 70,000, gm replaced the heads fuel rails and injectors in feb for free.

i do still have a warn on the truck. but if i can fix it myself i would rather do that.

first off there is a chance that you have a bad injector even though you just had them replaced, did you have any hard starts or white smoke?
also have your injector harness and FRPV(Fuel Rail Pressure Valve)checked out.just a few ideas i had.also did you get the codes off the truck?

also welcome to the DF.

Welcome to the forum!

Well the SES light is actually a good thing! Get someone to scan it and there should be a code to tell you exactly whats wrong! Tyrezboyz is right. Even with the new injectors one could be faulty. Actually before driving it again pull the dipstick and check the oil. Make sure its not overfull and smell like diesel.

Isn't the FRPV one of the other things that can cause a surge at idle? Seems like I remember it happening to other people.
