boost stick sends me to limp mode!!!

Alright, so I've got an 05 2500HD, PPE proggramer, and a boost stick, I can turn the programmer to 4 and hammer on it and it runs awsome, but when I put on the boost stick, if I go over level 2, after about 3 or 4th gear it just goes into limp mode until I turn it off, clear the codes, and start agian, is there anyways to get around, is it simply making to much power and just cant handle it and knows it need to shut down?

I think I've heard something about tow/haul mode to get around it.

What code are you getting? The only thing that i can think of is the PPE programmer adds boost too, so when you turn the programmer up and the boost stick on you are over boosting the turbo. Do you have a boost guage? IF so what kind of boost are you seeing? Most people that run the boost stick has programmers that don't add any boost.
