upper radiator hose

Hi my first post but I have read many of them. I think I may have a cooling issue. I have noticed that my upper hose is flat and like it is sucked together while running. My temp is normal but I have had the low cooling warning come on once so I added some water. I looked underneath and could see a little bit of coolant dripping off the lower hose and you could smell it as well. The truck has 93k and has only been in the shop for a defective rear seat belt and an ac problem that blew hot on one side and cool on the other side. i'M not sure exactly where to look to see if it is a waterpump issue or not. thanks, phil

I have heard of people having the problem with the rad hose colapsing aand IIRC it normal. For your antifreze leak. Id take it to a shop and get it pressure tested to find out where the leak is. Chances are its the water pump with the coolant comming out of the weep hole. Water pumps seem to be a common problem in the duramax as well.
