LB7 Diablo Predator?

I have a 03 lb7 and am looking at running the diablo predator on 85hp tune daily. I was wondering if it would put any added stress on my stock injectors? I know they are known for going bad and I don't want to speed the process of failer. I would appreciate any input. Thanks in adance.

Your injectors will fail one day.......can't imagine it would make that happen much faster.....

Ive been running it on my lly for bout 2 years and no problems yet but im bouta change to efi live asap. I dunno if its more prone to mess up the lb7s or not but i have heard that they have always had problems wit those injectors anyways. IMO knowing what i know now if i could go back i would just save a little more money and get a efi live tuned ecm from rob. Its a whole lot better bang for the buck!

PS Also i have had problems with my DS predator defueling at high speeds even with a lift pump but other than that i guess i can say ive got my 250 bucks out of it for a beginner tuner

I ran the predator on my LBZ for about a year. It worked well on the 85 tune. The 120 would defuel pretty good. I do not think it will speed up the injector failure. I would look into running a better filtration system and a fuel additive. It will help the injectors live a little longer. I know guys around here who have 250k+ miles with no issues.

Well technically any tune your running has the potential to shorten your injectors life. This is simply becuase you have the opportunity to run more fuel though it. Now will it really make a difference. Probably now... I would seriously look into the AD 165 and nicktane setup... JMO

had a predator on 85 for like 6 months. loved the tune, worked awesome, only limped the tranny once on it, and i was being very hard on it that day, my injectors are horrible right now, cant say if its from the predator or not.

smoke on 120, yes. egts? no. my dd efi tune has way higher egts than my diablo did. i pulled boats and 25 ft goose neck trailers all the time on the 85 tune and rarely saw over 1200 with the cruse on 75 going up hills. obviously the trailer wasnt fully loaded, but i never had any trouble with egts.
