LB7, LLY, LBZ OR LMM ?? Let's hear it

I have an LB7 but I think LBZ's are the best model. If i am accurate on my info they crank out the most horspower stock with the 6speed tranny

Ya I agree with BRC. Overall the LBZ is the best motor stock.

The LMM is rated a 5 hp more than the LBZ stock. If we were talking just motor to motor I would go with the LBZ but whole package I am going to have to go with the LMM. The MBS truck ar much more refined and comfortable and the emissions crap is easy to get rid of.

If we are talking STOCK....the LBZ can probably technically make up for the 5HP difference in tuning...because it doesn't have all that emissions junk. Other than that though (and I'm not knocking anyone here) I know a few people with the LMM's.....and with all the problems, recalls, EPA crap, etc.....whether you remove the DPF or not....I wouldn't want to deal with it all. Esp. since everyone who has the ECM re-flash done has so many problems. If I had to do it over again....I would STILL have my LBZ....less codes, less re-calls, a lot of power, no emissions crap. Plus the interior of an older body style is more driver accessible and friendly.
