Need Help Choosing Programmer/Tuner.

What would be a good choice for a programmer/tunner for an LB7? I'm not going to get real trick. I pull and enclosed trailer and have put on 285/16's. I don't plan on getting to trick with the truck. I have the banks exhaust and that is it. I want to be able to adjust my speedo and top speed limiter plus be able to get a few more HP and MPG. What do you guys think?

For what your looking for i would recomend the diablo predator programer. It will give you good power and from my experience on the 60 hp setting they do really well for milage. Plus it offers code reading/scaning and tire/speedo recalibration. You can usually pick these up for in the 400$$$ range. Try looking up either site member Diesel Nut or Discount power parts it think they both carry them!!!

Thank you Caleb!

Yes, the Diablo is about the best bang for the buck. There are others out there, but for the performance you want, none can touch the price.

it really differs truck to truck,i ran the bully dog triple dog and it ran great but i didn't in crease my economy so i switch to the ppe and it had the same power and more on the higher settings but it increased my fuel economy by 3 to 4 mpg providing that i drive right....i found out on my trucks i get the best economy running an extra 90hp....just my experience..good luck on your new toys

What did it do to your transmission? How many miles were on the truck?

It would put it in to limp home with only the tow mod. 100,000 diablo said that it was because of the miles. i changed the fuel and trans filters didn't make a difference. so I want with the dullydog and haven't had any problems even on the extreme setting. The diesel shop that services my truck said they have had a lot of problems with diablo turners.
