| How much can the stock clutch hold?
Just bought a new truck today. How much can it hold and who makes better ones? Should I get a new flywheel or have the stock one machined?

| Get a whole new setup with a solid flywheel, stock they have a dual mass flywheel and the only thing its good for is a small boat anchor!!! THe factory setup will not last under sock power levels. mine brand new lasted 13,000 miles with a edge juice on it for 10,000 miles????

| i agree. the stocker is junk (i've went through 2 of them myself). it wont hold much past stock power.
theres only 2 aftermarket flywheels/clutches available for the duramax engine that i am aware of. South Bend Clutch and Macs.
