Would I get better mpg in the flats on perf?? Someone told me told that when they were on the interstate and ran perf or extreme they got better milage than on t/e.

I left mine on Larry all the time. Towed with it a few times (DO NOT DO THIS). i would have to guess that performance would be okay to tow with if you're not that heavy, i didn't see egt's that high on performance ever.

Ya im not going to run CL on this truck. If I want that kinda power later I will go with PPE on this truck. It's just that all I have for it is the BDTD which is always on the cummins. I would like more power while towing, just wasnt sure if I could run perf and pull and keep egts down to an acceptable level. Once I hit the hills I will take it down to T/E so I know i wont hurt anything but wanted to run perf in the flats. All opinions welcome guys Thanks

You should be fine towing with the performance, but it does get pretty hot even on the tow/econ mode(towing a vw golf). So if it were me id just use the tow tune. but you should still invest in gauges IMO
