so I finally got around to doing the horn mod. bottom bolt took a little bit, and the honing went pretty easy with a die grinder. great idea with the wd40! bit would have gummed right up with the aluminum other wise. don't really hear to much more whistle (little bit, hard to tell in the truck) but the turbo i believe does spool quicker. well worth the hour of tinkering on the truck!

do you have to make a gasket? if so why? it dident have one on there in the first place.

All you need is a dremmel with a cutting bit and then a Flapper sanding disc... But time that is another thing!!!

mine had a really light paper gasket that stayed on the turbo. i wouldn't have even thought there was one there except for the people talking about it. you can feel the difference if you lightly scratch it with your finger nail.
