LB7 Turbo mouthpeice mod

Had a few hours to burn the other day so I did the turbo mouth peice mod, It really does help, boost comes in sooner and the driveability is better, I took me about 3 hours start to finish, make sure you get a gasket before you start, I didnt and had to make one, If you have been thinking about doing this mod, DO IT you will be suprised

Yep, it helps a little and gives it more of a whistle through the intake. Its an easy mod to do yourself and doesn't take long at all.

Is this a bolt kit or is there any milling involved? Does anyone know of a link that explains how its done?

You can actually take your stock intake horn and port it out, the majority of the benefit comes from the turbo side of the horn. Its easy to see where you will get gains from when you take it off and look at the inside. Just take the intake off then the three bolts that hold it onto the turbo.

timespentsearching had a thread on here not to long ago about this and I believe he was doing these for a fee and exchange of your existing MP, maybe he'll chime in on this.
