The S&B is a very good deal that is light on your wallet. I bought mine for $269 shipped to me.

Is the S&B tubing made of plastic or metal? I ask because I've heard from a few sources that the metal ones bring out the sound of the turbo a bit better. If that's the case, I'm looking to put a metal intake on my LB7. Anything I can do to make that thing scream is what I'm all about. BTW, how much for the AEM setup?

I'll be selling my AFE stage 2 sometime around October with the methanol/water injection if you can wait that long, always easier on the wallet if you can get it used. Here is some pics of it anyways.

Mine really screams with the AFE stage II and the modded intake horn that I have, getting rid of it in October as well.

and the turbo, how does it sound with the plastic intake in the LB7, any significant improvement over stock?

I DID take a used K&N and mod it to cool the intake charge and it works like a charm...

It also sounds AWESOME!!!! And reduced my EGT's by about 100 degrees across the board... I did my boost tubes too...

Yes it whistles more than stock for sure, then when you put a ported turbo horn on it, it gets twice as loud if not louder.

Look at the difference.
