Im sure it will be louder. Probably not as loud as a 4inch but pretty darn close!
Trust me you'll be happy with the outcome. My huge new MBRP muffler is sitting in my office and I doubt it will ever make it out

im goin to do it then... think it will be a PITA...i havent seen the truck so i have no clue what the exhaust looks like...is it just a straight strech underneath??

I know mine goes in then comes out 4inches or so lower in the muffler. Alot of people add a stick so you'll be fine.

Mine is a 2003, installed delete pipe and yea it's loud but I just watch it in residential neighborhoods, particullarly since I'm cruzin to work at 5:00 A/M. Noticeable increase in power. I LOVE it. I am going to chip it this winter.
No thats a bend in the MBRP pipe. My muffler delete is a straight peace of pipe right in front of the bend. I dont have pictures with me so Ill add them tomorrow at work.
