Thats not limp mode then. You'll get a check engine light, and either a 2000rpm rev limit, or you'll be stuck in 3rd or 4th gear depending on what year of truck.

What year of truck do you have? Please help us out, and fill out your signature with all of the info about your truck. It's in the "user cp" at the top left of every page, and theres a button that says "edit signature"

It sounds to me like you need to change your fuel filter, or something of that nature. Fuel filter should be changed every 10k miles. The tuner shouldn't have anything to do with what you've described.

Its done this ever since I programed it, new fuel filter old one doesnt matter took it to the dealer nothing wrong. Had three head bolts break and they replaced all 8 injectors, two cylinder liners to rods, two pistons. When they did it they checked everything on the truck tranny and all. Thought that may have been it but still does it.2001 I have a Air Raid open intake, Superchip Max tuner, Straight pipe no muffler that exits infrt of the wheel. I can pull anything not programed, program it and it shuts down till 30 mile per hour. Runs great as long as i'm not pulling anything. Had a few people look at it and they have no clue.

You guys think it might be the tranny? I got 93,000 on the truck, like I said before I can be cruising down the road at about 60 or 70 and it shuts the power off. I can mash the pedal to the floor and does nothing let it slow down to 30 -35 and its fine till I get back on it up to 60. Never does it stock only programed???????????????????

If it was me...I would throw the tuner away...slowing down to 30 mph can get real dangerous....Just try driving 60 mph towing and most trucks will pass at 80 +...Good Luck.

Tell me about it, one time I was on my way to an areana cross race in ohio and was on the turn pike and was doing about 80 and bam it lost power slowed down to 35 and was good to go again. So I pulled into a rest stop took it back to stock and could go clear to the speed limiter. I dont know what to do, I am going to get a nother programer.
