what do i need?

i just got an 03 and i want to straight pipe it so do i have to buy a kit and get a delete pipe if so what is the chepest thing i can get?

cheapest is flex pipe and do it yourself. All depends how redneck hillbilly you want to go

well if you want a different sound you will have to go with a 4 or 5 inch kit but if you just want it straight piped for now im pretty sure the 03s dont have a cat so you can just cut out your muffler and get a enough flex pipe to replace it and get two muffler clamps

Hack the muffler off and put a pipe in its place sounds great on my 01, you do not have a cat on your truck.

flex pipe likes to rust out.

im pro at nig rigging stuff lol. just cut off the pipe before the muffler and weld on a turndown on...worked great on my truck lol
