Help

Well heres the issue. Fuel guage jumping from what ever level to empty. Been reading up and it sounds like the fuel sending unit. Call couple of the local Auto stores and quoted $306 to $350. One place showed me a picture of it. Looks as if the Fuel pump is attached. Is that right? and is there a way to get this any cheeper. Cash is tight these day. Any info will be great thanks

There is no fuel pump attached to the one for a diesel. They are trying to sell you one for a gasser.

You sure? I never had one out but I thought I saw a diagram and there was a lift pump in the tank to feed the injection pump.
