Edge Juice Question

My buddy got an Edge Juice w/ Attitue monitor and I've got a question about it and the tranny. I've heard on the gm's that if the trans senses slip it will go into limp mode, is this true? How high can a guy turn the edge up without having to worry bout the tranny and going into limp. You gotta forgive me, I'm used to the weak dodge trannies and the ability to destroy them without notice.

What do you mean by limp mode?

Nothing over 90hp on a stock tranny. Limp mode is when you slip it in normally 4-5 or 5-4 shifts and it locks it into 3rd gear until you pull over and shut it down for a little bit.

I used to run my edge on Level 5 everynow and then just try not flog the crap out of it all the time. And def. watch those 4-5 shifts. I wouldn't put it on 5 and leave it or anything.
