PPE standard

Hey guys, i'm confused about the Xcelrator i just go yesterday. Do I have to pull the fuses every time i want to hook up the tuner? I know for installing tunes i do, but what about for realtime data or checking for codes and what not? thanks in advance!

When i had mine installed by Dan at PPE he told me you dont have to pull the onstar fuses when you install the program. I asked because i used to have to do it when i had the diablo.

Thanks for the input guys, i dont have onstar on my truck so I dont have to worry about that. I think i'll just try it with everything turned off next time and see what happens, just a PITA to pull fuses everytime

You dont have to pull the fuses when you are doing a real time scan or checking 4 codes but i always did when i put a new program on the truck. Because you havent seen PITA until you fry your ecm.

I found that I would get a malfunction on my ppe tuner if I didn't disconnect my autostart, which is tied into the purple wire on the OBD II port. But I am able to run the realtime data without pulling fuses.
