Are the higher prices of the name brand exhausts over budget systems justified. If they are both mandrel bent and made of the same material, whats the difference? Maybe some have better mufflers, but like many, I don't want a muffler, so what do the big brands have over the budget ones. Of course I would rather save some money and go with the cheaper brands, but I would like people with different exhausts to chime in and tell me what they think is best and if its worth the money. If the big brands are substantially better I will spend the money. I just want to make sure its worth it. Thanks guys.

The prices depend on Brand and what material, Some are t409 SS, t304 SS, and Aluminized. MBRP is running a special on 4" exhausts, all vendors should have them for 283.03.

I would still like to hear from some people about what kind of exhaust systems they have and what they think about them. also, do I have a cat on my truck. I have seen some posts saying that the lb7's don't but other posts contradict this. Last, I live in California and we are going to have to smog next year. This is going to be another determining factor in my decision.

What would you like to know, I have ran 4",5",4" duals and a single stack. I have a good feel for the exhaust markets. I would stick with a MBRP. Other brands like expandit dont fit quite as well as MBRP.
I have tyler's 5' budget kit and its workin just as good as my mbrp 4' did and even showin less signs or wear.

it depends like the budget kit is not single pieces and easily put together like the MBRP or magnaflow
i think for my MBRP there was like 5 or 6 pieces that just sslid into each other
